The eco compact sensor (ECS) series from Automation Technology GmbH are 3D sensors meant for applications in the food and logistics industries and robot vision. Using class 2M lasers with a wavelength of 660 nm, the series captures data on the principle of laser triangulation, outputting 2048 points per profile at speeds up to 43 kHz. The ECS series is compact, uses GigE Vision/GenICam data interface, includes 3rd party software support, and is available in 100 mm or 160 mm fields of view.
