The field calibration incOder® product from Celera Motion is designed for applications that require precise angle measurements in adverse conditions. Applications include field robotics, camera gimbals, satellite communications, advanced manufacturing, and surveillance. A calibration sensor optimizes the performance of the inductive sensing method, enabling maximum accuracy performance (up to 10 arcseconds) combined with high environmental integrity. The motion control solution offers users a low-profile form factor and large bore, multiple size and mounting formats, a duplex mechanical format that provides electrical redundancy, and the ability to calibrate the encoder in-situ. The sensor is offered in sizes ranging from 37 - 300 mm with the ability for further configuration.
