The MTSM1346SMF2-100 PIN photodiode offers high sensitivity and reliability with a speed response of 2 Gbps and a spectral range of 600 to 1750 nm. The photodiode leverages Marktech Optoelectronics’ hermetically sealed seam welded ceramic package that provides higher reliability than current standard thru-hole types.
The 5 mm x 5 mm surface mount package is constructed using a glass-to-ceramic seam welded process and is reflow solderable. A compact size and shape allow for dense packing and placement in small areas. Suitable applications include those requiring no moisture or oxygen ingress, wide or narrow Lambertian radiation pattern (flat or domed type lens). The package is capable of accommodating multiple chips.
