The SWIFT-EI image detector from SemiConductor Devices Ltd. enables SWIR capabilities for small and large distribution defense systems, as well as commercial, machine vision, and industrial applications.
The VGA format, 10-μm pitch SWIR detector integrates event-based imaging capabilities with advanced focal plane array detection for tactical forces to detect multiple laser sources, laser spots, hostile fire, and more. Its readout integrated circuit imager technology offers a standard imaging SWIR video channel and a high frame event imaging channel for two parallel video channels in one sensor. It supports day and low-light scenarios, enabling constant situational awareness and atmospheric penetration for tactical applications.
