Matrox Imaging has announced its Matrox Inspector version 2.2, with optimizations for Intel MMX technology and support for Matrox PCI frame grabbers. Matrox Inspector is an interactive Windows 95/NT scientific and industrial imaging package that contains functions for image capture, processing, blob analysis, gauging/measurement and pattern recognition/matching. Applications include off-line industrial inspection, microscopy, medical visualization, image cataloging and biological analysis.
