High-Speed Cameras for UV & Polarization
Emergent Vision Technologies Inc.Request Info
Many imaging and machine vision applications require spectral imaging cameras that go beyond the capabilities of standard visible imaging. For example, certain tasks require sensitivity beyond the spectrum of visible light, while others require cameras capable of inspecting glass or highly reflective materials. For systems integrators seeking area scan cameras with these capabilities that can also operate at high speeds and high data rates, Emergent Vision Technologies offers 10GigE cameras and 25GigE multispectral cameras with ultraviolet sensitivity, as well as 10GigE cameras with polarized image sensors.
Both the 25GigE Bolt HB-8000-SB-U and the 10GigE HR-8000-SB-U feature Sony’s 8.1 MP UV Pregius S IMX487 CMOS image sensor, which offers increased sensitivity in the UV waveband from 200 nm to 400 nm. The HB-8000-SB-U achieves 201 fps while the HR-8000-SB-U reaches 145 fps. These GigE Vision cameras target multispectral imaging applications such as semiconductor inspection, waste plastic sorting, high-voltage cable inspection, high-resolution microscopy, and luminescence spectroscopy.
For applications of polarization technology, including inspection of plastic, glass, semiconductors, and LCDs, Emergent Vision Technologies offers four different cameras based on Sony’s PolarSens CMOS polarized sensor technology. These are the 10GigE HR-5000-S (5 MP IMX250MZR/MYR sensor, 163 fps, 10GigE SFP+ interface), the 10GigE HT-5000-S (5 MP IMX250MZR/MYR sensor, 163 fps, 10GigE RJ45 interface), the 10GigE HR-12000-S (12 MP IMX253MZR/MYR sensor, 80 fps, 10GigE SFP+ interface), and the 10GigE HT-12000-S (12 MP IMX253MZR/MYR sensor, 80 fps, 10GigE RJ45 interface).
