Exfo E.O. Engineering Inc. has developed the IQ-1600 power meter for characterization of optical switches, multichannel optical power monitoring, R&D, and qualification and production testing of fiber optic components. This high-speed power meter features a short stabilization time, high sampling rate, external and internal power level triggers, analog output and IQ-200 optical test system interface. Available with 1, 2 or 4 InGaAs or high-power Ge photodetectors, it has a 4-kHz sampling rate, automatic and fixed gain scales, and 50-ms stabilization time.
