The EdgeGM™ 7000 from VIAVI Solutions is an edge grandmaster clock for positioning, navigation, and timing services used in critical infrastructure. The clock integrates advanced and scalable resiliency and 25 G precision time protocol (PTP) speed capabilities in a compact half 19-in. wide and 1U height rack-mountable unit with scalable software options. The EdgeGM™ 7000 can also be upgraded from 1/10 G to 25 G PTP with a license, and GNSS backup can be activated with an on-demand alternate GNSS geosynchronous earth orbit-L source license over the air.
