Glass Nano Waveguides
SCHOTT North America Inc.Request Info
SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass., Jan. 30, 2025 — Schott’s transverse Anderson localization (TAL)-based glass nano waveguides were designed for applications with ultrahigh resolution imaging, including medical diagnostics, industrial inspection, and defense, among others. The TAL technology is able to simplify detector alignment by confining light within subcamera pixels for accelerating scalability and prototyping for medical devices and in defense manufacturing. The (TAL)-based glass nano waveguides are manufactured from optical glass types, such as borosilicate or infrared glasses, as well as fused silica to localize light within sub-µm or nano levels.
