The 2.3-MP Phoenix GigE camera featuring Sony’s Pregius IMX392 image sensor has been announced by LUCID Vision Labs Inc.
The IMX392 is the latest addition to Sony’s lineup of Pregius global shutter CMOS image sensors. It features a sensor size of 1/2.3 in. with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 and a frame rate of 52 fps. The sensor is integrated into the Phoenix GigE PoE camera family.
Measuring 24 × 24 mm, the Phoenix camera has a unique transformable design that can be easily configured to meet a wide range of OEM applications. Its board layout can be trifolded into a stacked camera where it resembles a traditional cased camera but can also be unfolded into 90 or 180° orientations for the ultimate custom fit.
