Imperx Inc. has enhanced its professional vision system video capture capability for ExpressCard/54 laptop computers. Its HD-SDI Express video capture card now is equipped with gamma correction to compensate for display nonlinearity and is configured to implement arbitrary transformations for knee correction and contrast enhancement. The frame grabber can acquire images from any standard- or high-definition video source and can send them to an ExpressCard/54-compliant notebook computer at a rate of more than 235 MB/s for real-time viewing and storage.
