Galvo scan heads from Amada Weld Tech Inc. are designed for precision laser welding applications.
The devices enable quick and efficient welding of multiple points, create welds in specific shapes, and increase the melt pool for improved manufacturability. Dedicated welding software, configurable patterns, and an integrated safety shutter are included. They are compatible with lasers up to 3 kW and can be integrated with linear stage motion or wobble motion to accommodate different workpiece heights and tolerances. The devices can be used in point-to-point positioning, contour welding, and wobble welding.
