The INS-FI from Inertial Labs is a GPS-aided inertial navigation system (INS) for providing horizontal and vertical positions, velocity, and absolute orientation for mounted devices. Built using tactical-grade fiber optic gyroscope technology, the system features an all-constellations GNSS receiver with multiple bands supporting GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, BEIDOU, and NAVIC, along with full compatibility with Inertial Labs’ air data computer, visual inertial navigation systems, and stand-alone magnetic compass. The INS-FI includes an inertial measurement unit that combines gyroscopes and MEMS accelerometers and has an IP67 rating.
