The SmartComb 250 from Menlo Systems is a fully automated frequency comb system built with the company’s figure 9® fiber mode-locked oscillator technology. The compact system has a form factor of 3 height units in a 19-in. rack format and features a repetition rate of 250 MHz and the ability to be combined with extensions compatible with Menlo’s FC1500-ULNnova optical frequency comb, enabling an expansion of the comb spectrum from 500 to 2100 nm.
