The EL5MP series of fixed focal length lenses from Opto Engineering are 5-MP optics for sensors up to 2/3 in. with integrated liquid lens technology.
The high-resolution optical design combined with the liquid lens allows autofocus within milliseconds and acquisition of high-quality images. The devices provide high repeatability and focus stability, as each lens is calibrated in temperature using a specific algorithm. They can be used for high-speed inspections and at different working distances for the food and beverage sector, the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, and more. They can also help guide robotic arms used for applications such as pick-and-place and bin picking.
