The HighLight FL4000CSM-ARM fiber laser from Coherent Inc. enables advanced welding capabilities for high-thermal-conductivity metals.
With a unique dual beam output and a center beam with nominal BPP 0.6 high brightness, the model allows a smaller spot size compared to its multimode counterpart. The small spot size results in a high laser intensity that minimizes heating of the material and significantly improves stability of the melt pool. It is available with an output power of 4 kW
The laser aligns to welding requirements for e-mobility, energy storage, and general electrical interconnects consisting of dissimilar materials.
