Laser Research Optics introduces a line of CO2 laser focusing lenses and mirrors. Included are planoconvex, planoconcave and meniscus configurations in diameters from 0.5 to 2.0 in. and focal lengths from 1 to 20 in., depending on configuration. These zinc selenide lenses have 40-20 scratch-dig surfaces, <0.25% absorption values, <0.5% per surface reflection and >85% transmission at 633 µm. Made of silicon, molybdenum and copper, they feature turning mirrors with 99.7% reflectance at 10.6 µm.
