Sumita Optical Glass Inc.Request Info
New fluorescence glass fiber optics from Sumita Optical Glass Inc. are based on a borosilicate glass system for multicomponent optical glass fiber and show higher fluorescent efficiency than the company's Lumilass-G fluorescence glass. The material can be viewed under ultraviolet light and exhibits continuous excitation in the 200- to 400-nm ultraviolet region. The glass fiber has attenuation from 0.5 to 0.7 dB/m and is available in bundles consisting of 20,000 pixels. The bundle can be used in imaging and medical applications.
