FIBER OPTIC SOURCE
Newport - ILX Lightwave, PhotonicsRequest Info
ILX Lightwave Corp. has developed the MPS-8033/55 broadband fiber optic source with output centered at 1550 nm and spread over a 40-nm spectral width. The highly stabilized device is suitable for the rapid spectral characterization of fiber optic components such as filters, WDM couplers and fiber Bragg gratings. Based on amplified spontaneous emission from an Er-doped fiber, the source features high output stability and a GPIB/IEEE-488.2 interface.
