Ocean OpticsRequest Info
Ocean Optics Inc. has released a heat-resistant fiber optic probe that couples to the company's spectrometers to measure in situ emission spectra of samples such as dissolved metals and high-temperature plasmas. The FL-400 flame-resistant fiber probe has a 400-µm gold-jacketed UV-VIS optical fiber in an 8-in. nickel sleeve and connects to the fiber optic spectrometer with a splice bushing to an SMA-terminated patch cord. The FL-400 probe can be used to measure emission spectra in environments up to 750 °C.
