Hermetically sealed, surface-mount device-packaged 1.7- and 2.6-μm InGaAs PIN ATLAS photodiodes from Marktech Optoelectronics Inc. are designed for spacecraft, aerospace, medical, defense, wearables, industrial factories, and more.

The 1.7-µm cutoff InGaAs detectors can sense visible, NIR, and SWIR light or wavelengths from 600 to 1700 nm. The 2.6-µm cutoff InGaAs detectors can sense NIR to extended SWIR light or wavelengths from 800 to 2600 nm. The extended InGaAs detectors can be used in harsh environments, providing protection against water vapor, oxygen, and other gaseous contaminants. They offer sensitivity and linearity for spectroscopy, gas sensing, moisture analysis, pyrometry, and optical communication. A high quantum efficiency and low dark current is provided, ensuring performance even in low-light conditions. They are available in 0.3-, 1.0-, and 1.5-mm active areas.
