The KE60V-BV-CL Kestrel electron-multiplying CCD digital camera from Raptor Photonics Ltd. offers single-photon sensitivity at KHz frame rates.
Using a cooled back-illuminated sensor, it offers ultra-high sensitivity from 350 to 1100 nm with a peak quantum efficiency of 95% at 600 nm. Designed with a scientific grade 16-bit A/D converter, it has a resolution of 128 × 128 pixels with 24-µm square pixels and a standard Camera Link output. The camera can operate at up to 2 KHz with regions of interest.
Applications including wavefront sensing, adaptive optics, space debris tracking, calcium signaling, fluorescence imaging, and the tracking of fast objects.
