The ITALA® G cameras from Opto Engineering are high-speed cameras for checking injector nozzles that feature a dual exposure setting. Dual exposure allows the user to increase the acquisition speed of images and allows two images to be captured in succession by exceeding the maximum rated speed of the sensor. This is possible because the second acquisition starts during the readout phase of the first one, without waiting for its conclusion as is normally the case. The cameras can be used for both measurement and surface checks and are made for the automotive industry among others.
