The Calcium™ RP0033 digital pixel readout integrated circuit (DPROIC) from Senseeker Engineering Inc. features >120-dB dynamic range and a frame rate of up to 700 fps.
The 20-µm, 640 × 512-format device allows use with existing detector and optics technology. Users can accelerate development of advanced HDR infrared focal plane arrays by hybridizing available off-the-shelf detectors with advanced commercial readout. Dual-gain modes with programmable well capacity options of >40 and 400 Me-, each with low read noise of 50 and 330 electrons at 80 K, respectively.
