ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., Aug. 22, 2016 — Tru-Vu Monitors Inc. has announced the VMMOB-19 Series of 19-in. Daylight Viewable LCD monitors, which are able to withstand extreme heat, cold and travel over rugged terrain.
The monitors can operate in harsh environments down to −22° F and up to 185° F. They feature optical bonding and anti-reflective glass to improve image quality and to shield the LCD panel from physical damage. The rugged powder-coated steel enclosure and our exclusive TRU-Tuff treatment ensures maximum resistance to shock and vibration. Available options include a touchscreen, waterproof enclosure, 1000-nits sunlight-readable panel, panel-mount enclosure, ambient light sensor, and AC/DC power.
Although originally developed for the U.S. military, the VMMOB-19 Series monitors are being deployed in a wide range of other applications including manufacturing plants, steel mills, outdoor kiosks, outdoor inspection systems, vehicles, aircraft, ships, stadiums and arenas.
