Version 5.0 of the MCOSMOS advanced metrology suite for coordinate measuring machines from Mitutoyo America Corp. features interface, function, and performance upgrades.

With a modern design, its new graphical user interface features a simplified module display. Optimization for large CAD files lowers process time and improves overall operation. An element finder assists users in their quest for specific programmed elements of their measuring processes, error corrections, and detailed reporting. A 3D display of the geometry and microstructure of technical surfaces includes visualization of tolerance zones and provides operators with a more detailed overview of their workpiece.
