The CFT-90-WDH compact monolithic cool white LED source from Luminus Devices Inc. is centered around the 6000 K color temperature with a high color rendering index of 93.
Capable of being driven at high currents of up to 27A under both continuous wave and pulse width modulation conditions, the LEDs typically deliver 3200 lm at 22.5A. They also provide a low thermal resistance chip-on-board package coupled with a robust design and median lifetime well in excess of 50,000 hours. The windowless package is designed for optimal coupling efficiency into either large-diameter fiber bundles or light engines. Applications include medical endoscopy, machine vision, stage lighting, and more.
