Confocal Microscopy PlatformThe STELLARIS confocal microscopy platform from Leica Microsystems GmbH captures 3D images of living cells and tissues.

The combination of Power HyD detectors, white light lasers, and sophisticated software delivers brighter signals, resulting in images with more contrast and detail. This data helps researchers observe the inner workings of cellular processes, which is crucial for research in fields like cancer and neuroscience. Enhanced sensitivity in the blue-green range improves the detection limits and dynamic range for the most commonly used fluorophores. The extension of the detection range to the NIR provides higher dynamic range with additional freedom when selecting dyes and up to three additional colors.

TauSense lifetime-based imaging modes help explore the function of molecules in their cellular context and separate fluorophores even when their emissions fully overlap. The number of simultaneous detection channels can be expanded by using lifetime-based information. The ImageCompass smart user interface ensures that scientists have the productivity to do more.
