The Primostar 3 compact light microscope from ZEISS is a robust, upright device for daily classroom uses or lab work for tissue and sample examination in histology, cell biology, food, microbiology and more.

The microscope is designed for long-term use and extreme durability. Users can choose the best microscope configuration for specific tasks from a number of pre-defined packages for classroom or routine lab work, providing ease of use and plug-and-play installation. Users can choose either a 30-W halogen bulb, an energy-saving LED bulb with its stable color temperature and illumination intensity, or a fluorescence tube to create a fluorescence microscope.

An integrated 8-MP microscope camera and a number of additional digital interface options are provided.
