Camera Reference Design KitThe THSCM101 THEIA-CAM design kit from THine Solutions Inc. is a 13-MP Phase-Detection Auto-Focus (PDAF) Linux camera reference design kit.

The THSCU101 is a USB Video Class (UVC) camera based on the THP7312-P image signal processor and Sony’s IMX258 CMOS PDAF image sensor. The kit includes a camera board, a mini-SAS cable, and all required software to stream images. It can stream images through connection to the NXP i.MX 8M EVK or i.MX 8M Mini EVK. Optimized ISP firmware provides high image quality repeatable in every unit for use in high-volume production. The Linux driver, SD card image, and reference circuit schematics can all be made available to interested customers. Customization is possible through graphical user interface-based software development tools.

The kit is used in a wide range of AR glasses, barcode reading devices, biometric devices, body cams, document scanners, machine vision systems, medical scopes, microscopes, surveillance cameras, vision assistance glasses, and webcams.
