The CoaXPress 2.0 (CXP-12) evaluation kits from Basler AG consist of a Basler boost camera, a CXP-12 interface card, and a CXP-12 accessory starter kit.
The camera features a Sony IMX253 sensor with a 12-MP resolution and 68 fps, as well as the IMX255 sensor with 9 MP and 93 fps. The camera has compact dimensions of 80 × 80 × 45 mm and includes a digital input with two GPIO ports and a maximum cable length of 40 m.
The CXP-12 interface card was developed specifically for the boost camera. The CXP-12 Starter Kit contains a CXP data cable, two heat sinks for the optimal heat management of the camera outside of the image processing system, a C-mount lens adapter, and an I/O cable to externally trigger the camera.
