The FCB-EV9520L camera block from Sony Image Sensing Solutions is based on the 2-MP Starvis™ two-color image sensor.
The 1/2.8-in. unit supports full HD resolution with a wide dynamic range, 30× optical zoom, and a 64° horizontal viewing angle. With an innovative cell structure, the camera block delivers elevated levels of sensitivity. The photodiode layer in each results in extended light path lengths, accentuating the absorption efficiency of longer wavelengths. The camera’s NIR performance is capable of working in ultralow light conditions at 0.009 lx or 0.00008 lx when IR cut-filter removal is activated.
