The Eagle 1-MP C-mount CCD camera from Raptor Photonics Ltd. is air-cooled to -80 °C.
Using a back-illuminated CCD with 1056 × 1027 pixels and a 13 × 13-μm pixel pitch, the camera’s air-cooling minimizes dark current for longer exposures. Using low-noise electronics, it offers 2.3e- readout noise. It is available with an integrated shutter and a small footprint of 140 × 126 × 120 mm.
Applications include astronomy, BioChip reading, biological and chemical luminescence, fluorescence imaging and spectroscopy, photovoltaics, semiconductor analysis, and more.
