The AP185B from Laser Tools Co., Inc. is a beam shifter meant to work in conjunction with the company’s family of lasers. The beam shifter uses a Powell lens within its lens carriage which is spring loaded and moves along a track. The AP185B features a set screw that is used to adjust or shift the lens back and forth and the amount of intensity shift required is dependent upon the angle of the laser module and the length of the laser line over the working surface.
