AIRBORNE IMAGING
SORL/Space Optics Research Labs LLCRequest Info
The three-mirror telescope from Space Optics Research Labs (SORL) was designed as the front-end afocal telescope for an airborne imaging spectrometer. The multispectral system operates from the visible to the mid-IR wavelengths, and has 2° field of view, 12.6-in. clear aperture and <1.0-µrad boresight jitter. It uses three off-axis conic mirrors with surface figures ranging from λ/10 to λ/16 peak to valley. The telescope is fabricated from graphite composite to reduce weight and operate in a broad temperature range.
