508 Perfect Vision Spectrophotometer

The new 508 Perfect Vision by Craic Technologies, offered by Elliot Scientific, adds UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometry and imaging to legacy microscopes for numerous nondestructive laboratory and manufacturing microanalysis applications. These include new materials characterization; measurement of surface plasmon resonance, graphene and vitrinite reflectance of coal; and colorimetric and relative intensity mapping of flat panel displays.

Designed to be added to an open photoport of a microscope or probe station, the device features Craic Technologies’ proprietary Lightblades spectrophotometer and optical interface technologies. It can acquire 8-megapixel high-resolution color images and the spectra of microscopic sample areas by absorbance, reflectance, polarization, luminescence and fluorescence.
