The SpectorBOX X from MEK Europe BV is a modular 3D automated optical inspection (AOI) system for through-hole technology (THT) solder joints and components. It can be used bottom-up for volume measurement of THT solder joints and pin height measurement, or top-down for a 150 mm + clearance for 3D THT components measurement. The SpectorBOX X delivers direct volumetric measurements of solder joints from selective, wave, robotic, pin-in-paste reflow, laser and manual soldering systems in addition to pin height measurement. The AOI system also features X, Y, and Z-axis moving optics and 100-mm clearance for THT soldering measurement.
