2015 Laser World of Photonics

Laser Munich 2015 The 2015 Laser World of Photonics conference and trade fair, sponsored by Messe München International, provides visitors the chance to explore this and its diversity industrywide. It will be held June 22-25, 2015 at the Munich Trade Fair Center in Munich.

The biennial conference showcases innovations, products and ideas from companies and organizations around the world. Researchers and industry professionals will come together to stimulate and promote advancing development of optical, laser and related technologies. It is touted as one of the world’s leading trade fairs and conferences covering the laser industry.

An innovation platform for young start-up photonics companies, the Startup World exhibition will allow fledgling companies to showcase their pioneering products and technologies to a wide industrial audience. It also offers a forum in which to meet potential investors. The program also serves to directly connect start-up companies with industrial partners and sponsors.

Anwendungszentrum Oberpfaffenhofen (AZO) is a collaborator on the Startup World initiative. The company specializes in developing and cultivating international innovation networks, and supporting product innovations.

Interactive lectures will cover several topics – Biophotonics and Medical Applications, Lasers and Optics, Industrial Laser Application, and Optical Metrology and Imaging. These interactive “practice-oriented lectures” feature industry representatives discussing the challenges in the field, as well as solutions and best practices with various optical technologies.

An industry forum on laser technology for those in business management, investment, marketing and distribution will focus on the international markets of laser materials processing. And application-oriented panel discussions will cover topics under the umbrellas of biophotonics and medical applications, industrial laser applications, optical metrology and imaging, and lasers and optics.

Application-oriented panel discussions will cover topics under the umbrellas of biophotonics and medical applications, industrial laser applications, optical metrology and imaging, and lasers and optics. Specific sessions include Laser Advanced new Methods for Diagnostics and Therapeutics; and Laser Applications and Optical Diagnostics in Ophthalmology.

A wide spectrum of the industry will be represented at the conference, in numerous exhibition sectors. From components and systems to industrial applications and services, these sectors will cover a wide range of photonics solutions. Additionally, a Machine Vision Pavilion will exhibit complete imaging systems, as well as new solutions and suppliers.

Exhibitors and researchers from across the globe will present technology not only in lasers and optoelectronics, but also laser systems for production engineering and more.
