New Collimated Mid-IR LEDs
From: Hamamatsu Corporation
Introducing Hamamatsu’s new reflector package for mid-infrared (MIR) LEDs. Output and dispersion have been challenges for LEDs, but now the reflector package effectively doubles the radiant flux within the light path and heavily condenses the dispersion. Users will now benefit from longer path lengths and higher sensitivity, while still enjoying the low power consumption and long lifetimes of LEDs.
