Design Optimization of Grating Fiber Couplers with RSoft Products
Engineers can readily achieve optimal design of silicon photonics devices using rigorous simulation tools to numerically optimize a large number of design parameters. This paper demonstrates how a complex grating coupler design can be efficiently designed and optimized with a 2D decomposition and then validated by 3D simulation using the RSoft photonic simulation tools.
