Advances in optical engineering and applications, nanotechnology, quantum science, organic photonics, and astronomical instrumentation will be topics of interest.
32 courses and workshops will be offered to help you advance your career. Courses will be available from Optical Design and Systems Engineering to workshops for optics educators.
William E. Moerner, Stanford University, Dept. of Chemistry, California, USA, will speak on 'Nanophotonics Based on Individual Molecules and Light Gives Rise to 3D Super-Resolution Imaging in Cells and Biomolecular Insights'. Dr. Moerner received his Nobel Prize in Chemistry for achieving the first optical detection and spectroscopy of a single molecule in condensed phases.
