Daniela Leizaola is a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Florida International University, working under the guidance of Anuradha Godavarty. Her research investigates the impact of skin color on tissue oxygenation maps generated by the SPOT device. Leizaola was recently awarded the FIU Dissertation Year Fellowship to support the final year of her doctoral studies.
