Antonio Castelo

Antonio CasteloAntonio Castelo is a physicist specializing in optics and currently serves as a technology manager at the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC). After obtaining a Ph.D. in applied physics with a specialization in laser processing of materials, he worked as a sales engineer and sales manager for several value-added distributors and manufacturers. At EPIC, Castelo is in charge of the development of the laser and biomedical fields, and all related technology and applications. He has a strong interest in new technology involving photonics, such as ultrafast lasers, new medical devices, and spectroscopy solutions.
