ams OSRAM Extends CFO’s Contract: People In The News: 10/22/25

The board of ams OSRAM approved a contract with CFO Rainer Irle, effective immediately, running until Oct. 15, 2030. The current contract was set to expire in June 2026. Irle has been CFO at ams OSRAM since July 2023. Before joining ams OSRAM, Irle had been CFO of Siltronic AG since 2013. Previously, he held management positions in finance at Siltronic and Wacker Chemie AG. 

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — The board of Teledyne Technologies appointed Laura Black, managing director of Needham and Company, LLC, and George Bobb III, Teledyne's president and CEO, to its board of directors. The additions raise the number of board members to 12.

NEW YORK — Q/C Technologies, a quantum computing company, appointed Steven Frankel as senior quantum advisor. Frankel will help advance the development and commercialization of Q/C’s laser processing unit (LPU), which is deployed for complex optimization and combinatorial problems at the speed of light. Frankel is currently a professor of mechanical engineering at the Israel Institute of Technology.

HAMBURG, Germany — Fiber optics components manufacturer Schäfter+Kirchhoff and its owner, the non-profit Gregor Federau Foundation, added Tobias Klafka and Michael Schulz to the management board, joining Ulrich Oechsner. Both Klafka and Schulz have held key positions within the company. Klafka is a physicist and previously held the position of head of development. Schulz is an engineer who most recently led the production department.
