Carl Zeiss AG is expanding its executive board, adding Susan-Stefanie Breitkopf as chief transformation officer. Matthias Metz, member of the executive board of Carl Zeiss AG and responsible for the ZEISS Consumer Markets segment, will switch to BSH Hausgeräte GmbH where he will take over as CEO beginning Oct. 1. 
Metz will be succeeded by Sven Hermann, who will join the executive board effective July 1.

DURHAM, N.C. — Wolfspeed, a developer of silicon carbide technology, promoted Rick Madormo to senior vice president of sales and marketing, succeeding Thomas Wessel, who will retire. Wolfspeed hired Owen DeLeon as the company’s vice president of sales for the Americas.
