Zecotek Photonics Inc. announced the appointment of Dr. Jalil Ali to its board of directors. Ali will act as independent director, advising on industry trends as well as providing additional industry expertise at the board level. “Dr. Ali is a recognized expert in his field and we anticipate he will make a significant contribution, in particular as we are at the critical stage of bringint our MAPD devices into mass production,” said Dr. A. He has also held numerous faculty and research positions at UTM from 1987 to 2010, and he played an instrumental role in establishing and forging university-industry collaborations in Malaysia.
