ZEISS, MPFI to Collaborate on Brain Imaging
A collaboration between ZEISS and Max Planck Florida Institute (MPFI) for Neuroscience aims to increase resolution and signal-to-noise in the process of imaging regions of the brain that are unreachable with traditional in vivo microscopy. Per the formalized agreement, ZEISS will provide equipment to MPFI researchers, and the partners will co-sponsor, host, and support academic research workshop activities and internal training focusing on deep brain functional imaging. MPFI research staff will also present lectures about the ongoing research and best practices for functional neuroscience imaging.
ZEISS and MPFI in 2019 announced a “labs@location” partnership, giving MPFI access to state-of-the-art ZEISS technology before it is commercially available.
