Universal Voltronics Acquires LeCroy VISyN Power Supply Series
MOUNT KISCO, N.Y., Sept. 25 -- Universal Voltronics has acquired the VISyN series of programmable high-voltage power supplies from LeCroy Corp. for an undisclosed amount of cash. LeCroy had developed the power supplies to be used as photomultiplier tube drivers in high-energy physics experiments.
We structured this very important acquisition with the VISyN customer in mind: we've put special effort into assuring that there will be a seamless transition from LeCroy to Universal Voltronics in sales, manufacturing, warranty and service support, said Leonard Braverman, president and CEO of Universal Voltronics.
Universal Voltronics specializes in high-voltage applications for commercial, medical research, industrial and aerospace applications.
