Ultratech Inc., a supplier of lithography, laser processing and inspection systems, has appointed Tammy Landon and Dave Ghosh its executive officers. Landon joined the company in 2000. She was previously the senior vice president of operations, responsible for manufacturing, operations, materials, engineering, quality, training, technical support and installation. She most recently led human resources, information technology and corporate services. She has more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and defense industries, holding bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and industrial technology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. Gosh joined Ultratech in 1989 and was most recently the senior vice president of global sales. He held various positions in risk management, corporate services, real estate, facilities, environment, health and safety, human resources, information technology systems, and worldwide service. He also worked on special projects that included mergers and acquisitions, business development negotiations with foreign governments, and risk management. Gosh holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from San Jose State University. Ultratech designs, builds and markets manufacturing systems for the global technology industry, serving the core markets of frontend semiconductors, backend semiconductors and nanotechnology. Its systems are used to manufacture semiconductor devices, high-brightness LEDs and atomic layer deposition systems.
