Universal Semiconductor Inc. (USI) of San Jose, Calif., has partnered with PhotonIC Corp. of Culver City, Calif., and Honolulu to expand its semiconductor and photonic production capabilities in the US. The companies will offer integrated photovoltaic/CMOS technologies and new 6- and 8-in. wafer foundry capabilities in their San Jose and Honolulu facilities.
